What's in a name?
Welcome to CadyBug Designs! I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it for you. A few of years ago, I discovered a fun and addicting hobby creating graphics on computer. Whether it was "siggys" or birth announcements for my children, I would spend so much time making them, I would often joke about how I wished I could make money doing this thing I loved so much.
Then one day it hit me! How could I have not thought of this sooner? (I have three kids, so my brain is a little slow.) I could create my own business making birth announcements, invitations, photo cards and so much more! I had already been making my own invitations and such for years, so combining the two seemed like a logical idea.
In deciding on a name for my new business, I struggled. After months of tossing around ideas, it finally came to me one day. Named for her young daughter with Cerebral Palsy, CadyBug was the nickname given to Cadence during a rare quiet moment in the midst of the child's 6-week long NICU stay.
Voila! I had found it!
Today Cady is doing as well. She actually took part in an experimental procedure at Duke University last month to hopefully treat her brain damage. You can read about it here. We appreciate all the prayers and positive thoughts that have been sent her way!
So, there you have it! The fun start to a new and exciting venture for me. And the fun thing about my work, compared to some other sites out there, is each design is custom-made just for you. While I can certainly recreate certain designs I've done that you love, I can take bits from several to create one to suit your tastes, or you can give me ideas of what you'd like to see and we can work together until it's perfect. Either way, you will be getting a work that has been made just for you and your special occasion! I hope you will consider doing business with me and tell your family and friends to do the same!
